The author of The Almost True Story of Sandy Primary School, James Lambert was invited by Vibe book shop, Mui Wo, Lantau, Hong Kong on 18th May 2019 for a book signing event. The author shared some of the excerpts from his book with the audience. The book was well received by the people for its humorous storytelling style. Signed copies of the book were also distributed among attendees.



The story of The Almost True Story of Sandy Primary School is hilariously written tale of an imaginary school located at the beach which has been destroyed by the hurricane Soft and Fluffy. The government then proposes the idea of gathering a bunch of students who will design as well as choose the location of the school. For the children of Mr Bell’s class, it is a lifetime opportunity to rebuild the school. Once school is reopened Mr Bell takes his crazy students and their parents on an adventurous bus trip, appalling school fairs and exciting treasure hunt.


The author James Lambert hails from Liverpool, UK. He has been serving as a teacher for the last 18 years in an International School in Hong Kong. He lives with his family in Hong Kong.
